The hotel is located near the German border and is perfect for visiting worthwhile attractions in the area. the pool and spa area were relaxing after a tiring day hiking in the mountains. the breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly.
The rooms were not soundproof and sometimes noisy, which disturbed our sleep.

The sleeping area for my children was very cute. Up stairs and in their own little loft area. We had a lovely balcony which looked out to the mountains. The restaurant served local food and our waitress was very helpful.
We did have noise outside our window from the local youths who seemed to have nothing better to do. There seemed to be a space for a fridge but there was not one and no tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Great for sightseeing and exploring! Located just across the border, this hotel is an excellent base for anyone wishing to visit the castles in the area. The rooms are comfortable and offer nice views, and the breakfast is delicious. One of the best aspects of this hotel is that it has a homely feel to it.
The hotel could do with a little more information for tourists. The staff could offer more information on the local area.

Good quality hotel, 15 min drive from Schloss Neu Schwanstein, good wellness area (newly built) but swimming pool very cold. No mini bar or tea making facility in the room which would be expected at their prices. Restaurant excellent and good value for money. Note this is a hotel with 2 smoking restaurants and 2 non smoking restaurants. The family rooms are a very good size.

Pool was nice for the kids.
Breakfast room had many flies, possibly some screens on the windows would help.

The hotel is located very close to the German border, making it easy to visit the nearby attractions. the staff is welcoming and helpful, and the hotel is nicely decorated with spacious rooms. the spa area offers a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring. the food is delicious, and the breakfast has a good variety of options to choose from.
One of the downsides of the hotel is the smoking allowed in the bar area, which can be unpleasant for non-smokers. Another issue is that the dining options might be limited for those who prefer a wider variety of choices.

spa and wellness area are amazing
the huge difference between the pictures.shown on Booked.net and the actual bedrooms that do not justify the prices..

I picked this hotel for the pool and the loft style room and for its proximity to Neuschwanstein castle. The neighborhood is convenient to shops and food. The breakfast buffet was nice. The spa area was appreciated.
I picked this place for the pool so my 5 year old could swim. The indoor pool was not heated and was so cold we couldn't use it. The room was loft style, perfect for a family but the bed was so hard, my husband & I both woke up achy and sore throughout the night. The location was lovely and close to Neuschwanstein but wasn't the best value for the money as it was a bit expensive for the family loft.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel facilities were also impressive with a nice pool to relax in and a playroom for children. The location was convenient with easy access to transportation and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent with organic honey and a good variety of options. Additionally, the hotel was very clean.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, good wellness area.
Unfortunately a smoking area inside the hotel next to the reception, result is an horrible smell in the corridor almost into the room (and our room was at the second floor!), old and uncorfortable mattresses, internet given as little as possible (the first time for just 3 hours, the second time for 12 hours and we stayed for 4 days!). Normally it should be rated as 3stars hotel, rooms need to be refurnished. Be sure you bring a mask to sleep (very light curtains) if you don't want to wake up at 5 o' clock.

Room had a balcony. Facilities were generally good.
Quite noisy - some sort of pump or heating mechanism went all night. Cigarette smoke from elsewhere in hotel pervaded everything - even in rooms. Staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming.
